I'm with you on this one. Used to be a time when getting in your car and leaving the house meant leaving all your toys behind, too. People are a hazardous even without the cell phones, texting, hairbrushing, tie straightening... for heaven's sake people just drive and pay attention!
I agree about the high tech toys but without trying to sound sexist I have seen on many occasions the sight of a woman steering with her knee while applying eyeliner in the rear view mirror. ;o) (my wife included.)
with you on this one the sad thing is that stupid people will still drive while useing the phone,if there are no Cops in sight.( it the no cop,No Harm No Foul)
Amen. I've had enough near-misses with folks who looked up from their phone like they just woke up at the wheel. Pure stupid. What really gets me is when it's a mom at the wheel with her baby riding in the backseat and she is driving fast and having an animated conversation. Pure stupid.
I am agree with you. Please take care of your self and other peoples when you are driving. Please also forget gadget when you are driving. You share a very great message. Thanks for sharing.

i share with your sentiments on this too. its irresponsible or reckless driving to use tech gadgets while driving
It's very terrible here in my country, most drivers do not care about the traffic sign so that the road isnot safe anymore
It ain't just gadgets.
I was driving an interstate and a woman passed me in the right lane with a bowl in one hand, a spoon in the other... eating her breakfast.
Unless she had multiple arms... how was she controlling her vehicle?
People who are unsafe drivers are unsafe whether with a cell phone, a newspaper, a cereal bowl, a PowerPoint printout... etc.
