Some may have a reason to be in a hurry, maybe they are late for work, there could be a medical emergency or maybe they just really really have to pee.
Whatever the reason, don't let your situation effect the safety of others on the road
Make sure your following distance is sufficient (Two seconds between vehicles as a minimum)
Don't let your thoughts or anything else in your vehicle distract you from the dangers of the road
Everyone wants to get home safe after all.

Most people think about a lot of things they worry about and get things done in a rush. Judgment and/or mental conditioning is affected that's why people tend to lose concentration in driving.
At www.Traffexaustralia.com.au, we recommend drivers to be a defensive driver when your out on the road. Accidents are accidents and if you become a defensive driver you will be able to minimize the odds of you getting into a minor or serious accident by being aware of the other motorist and being able to respond with out hesitaion. Brisbane traffic can be bad at times and there will always be drivers in a rush, best be aware encase a bad situation may occur when your on the road. Learn to be a defensive driver.
there are too many people and private car. they are rushing for life.
My father started off telling me at an early age, that I need to allow myself enough time to get to where I need to go, without having to rush. It sounds stupid when you are a child, but I always remembered it in the past 23 years of driving since I got my first drivers license.
Everyone is running for work. Time is less and we have to do so much. But appreciate your writing about road safety.
While driving we should not think about other matters just concentrate on driving so that nobody could harm. I found driving the most difficult.
Toronto Airport Taxi
My city traffic (Jakarta), is more terrible than these picts
accident is that we do not want, always be alert and cautious street highway, articles of interest .. provide little information to our friends out there who are driving to always be vigilant ...
I can completely understand where you're coming from in this post - and I whole heartedly agree with you. It really does seem like people are in a big hurry these days and, as a result, people tend to sacrifice safety on the road for less time driving. I do think that is'a societal issue, more or less. As a society we're so focused on what's next that we don't take time to focus on the what is and so while driving we don't focus on the moment because we've got our one way goggles on leading us to our final destination.
The most important thing when driving is to be alert. Don’t drive if you are feeling sleepy.
I know it's not funny but I can't think of how many times I see people ignoring the exact things this article talks about. Most people don't know that if they are traveling a distance of 30 miles at 80 mph they'll literally only be like 5 min ahead tops, of someone who is driving 65. It's not worth it!
You don't only have to prepare your car and tires well in advance for winter, but also for other seasons. Fog, excessive rainfall and glare and heat all bring specific kinds of adjustments and maintenance.
Couldn't agree more! It's terrible when people get so caught up in themselves and if they're running late that the sacrifice their own safety as well as the safety of others. If you are running late or in a rush, call ahead and let someone know so you can relax and help make the road a safer place. You can't drive if you're distracted!
Keep Your Eyes on the Road offers some tips on dealing with distractions if you think you need help concentrating!

Great read!
It's not only the car, engine, tires etc.. that you are going to prepare when travelling! You must prepare yourself more than anything else to keep a safe and sound travel. Drive safely! Slowly but surely is better!
